Growing as an Artist

Being a member of the Rochester Art Club, I have had many opportunities to take workshops with many artists.

Trying new techniques, having a chance to learn from other artists is an important and very desired part of my being an artist. I know I will always be learning. There is also the realization I may develop bad habits, or miss out on developing repeatable methods that could allow me to develop better work.

Story

Here I will go over some of the workshops that have had a lasting impression on me.

Conclusion

I highly recommend any artist to challenge themselves to try new techniques, mediums, as well as gaining the social rewards of working with other artists to mutually grow as artists.
